Congratulations to Ireland and our own Paul Gilleran on a fantastic win in the Masters Competition in Cavan with a score line of 87 to 29.

Notice Paul in the photos handing on the precious GAA torch to his children . Look at his son Conor beside him in the line up and look out for baby Jane  in his arms in the photo with the trophy. Congratulations Paul, Aisling, Conor, Jane and all the Irish team and management.

Best of Luck Paul, Terence and Anthony in the Irish Masters.

We are all very proud of the fact that Paul Gilleran (Kilteevan) is a member of the Ireland squad playing Australia in Cavan next Saturday July 20th.

Paul is a committed member of St Joseph’s Kilteevan. He was a dedicated member of Kilteevan Community Development Group for many years .

Paul continues to lend a willing helping hand to Kilteevan Tidy Towns whenever we call on his expertise.

The Irish Masters (Over 40) squad to face their Australian counterparts in next Saturday's International Rules test in Denn, Co. Cavan. The 32-man squad features two players from each of the 16 counties that compete in Masters football, including London. Managed by Jimmy Galligan (Cavan), Joe Leonard (Tyrone) and Anthony Carroll (Roscommon)

The countries will compete for the Paddy Gaffney Cup in memory of the late Paddy Gaffney.

A novel twist to this year’s test is that two quarters will be played with the Australian footy, with the Gaelic football used in the other two quarters.
