Kilteevan Community Development Group has organised a number of events to celebrate National Heritage Week.  Events are open to the public will take place on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of August.

Speaking at the launch meeting, Eileen Fahey, (Chairperson ) hoped the events would help to foster awareness of the natural heritage of Kilteevan and reinforce Kilteevan’s sense of identity.  The planned walks, talks and activities should highlight the many interesting species that can be found in Kilteevan.

The theme of heritage week this year is Generations...Family Exploring Heritage Together as 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the UNs Year of the family.
