Our events on Saturday, 17th of August begin with:
Mapother Tea Party
Mapother Tea Part (11.00am - 4.00pm). Open Day at the Community Centre. Drop in and enjoy refreshments in the company of neighbours and friends! Explore the building. Gathering Souvenirs will be available.
Heritage Trail
Heritage Trail (12pm). Meet at the Community Centre and run, walk pr cycle "The Grove Loop" to see some of our local points of interest, taking in our new Heritage signs.
Painters & Poets
Painters & Poets (3.00pm). Results of the competition will be announced with prizes sponsored by Paddy Finn's bar.
Time Capsule Burial
Time Capsule Burial (3.30pm). Be there as history is made when our time capsule is buried!
St Joseph's GAA Match
St Joseph's GAA Match (7.00pm). Support our local football heroes in their final group game against Castlerea in the junior A Championship at St Josep's pitch, Kilteevan.
Irish Music Session
Irish Music Session (9.30pm). Retire to Paddy Finn's for a rousing Irish music session.
