John Brennan, member of Roscommon CBS Senior Football Team received his Connacht A Colleges Championship medal last night(May 21^st 2015) at a Gala Event in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon.

John and his team mates were presented with their medals by the legendary Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh.

John is a past pupil of Kilteevan National School.  Much to the delight of current pupils, John and members of the team visited Kilteevan National School last week with the coveted Aengus Murphy trophy.

We wish John and Roscommon CBS every success in the future.

Congratulations to Anne Naughton, Killeenboy Kilteevan who won €402 in

St Joseph's 50/50 draw last Saturday night (May 16th).  The next draw will take place Saturday night (May 23^rd) in Paddy Finns.

On May 14^th. 2015, Lauren O'Connor, Kilteevan, was one of ten girls from Co. Roscommon selected to participate in the Soccer Sisters tournaments at the Aviva Stadium. Lauren is in second class in Kilteevan National School.

The Soccer Sisters programmes are aimed at 7 – 12 year old girls. They are introduced to basic movement and football skills, and learn the disciplines and fundamental rules of the game. They are also encouraged to develop interpersonal skills and play for local clubs.
