Summer Camps

Many of our regular clubs take a break for the Summer, leaving the Centre available for use as a venue for children’s Summer Camps.

Centre Stage Youth Theatre has held a successful Summer Camp for 8-12 year olds which culminated in a wonderful performance of “Horton Hears a Who”!

Arts and Crafts Camps have been held in the centre on a number of occasions, also accommodating school-age children.

If you are considering Kilteevan Community Centre as a venue for your camp, please enquire below.

Operators of childrens’ camps must provide their own insurance.

Classes

Due to it’s proximity to Roscommon Town, Lanesboro and Knockcroghery, Kilteevan Community Centre is an ideal venue to hold classes within those catchment areas.

There are a number of options available to you if you wish to use the Centre as a base to hold classes in your area of expertise.

The main ground floor hall has been used in the past for Pilates, Aerobics and Sean Nós dancing classes. It is well ventilated and large enough to accommodate large class numbers.

The smaller upstairs rooms are ideal for smaller groups. Music, crafts or computers could all be taught successfully in these upper rooms.

Changing facilities and showers are available if required.

If you would like to use the centre to hold your classes, please enquire below.

Art & Craft Exhibitions

We are currently holding an Art Exhibition by a local painter in our small, upstairs meeting room. The room is fitted with picture rail throughout, and provides a pleasant environment in which to view the work of the artist.

We also have an unusual gallery area, fitted with picture rail, which has also been used in the past to display work by local artists. This area does not have a lot of natural light so may not suit some art or craft types.

Larger exhibitions can be set up in other areas of the building. If you are interested is using the centre as a venue for your exhibition, please enquire below.
