Nature and Art Combine for Cloonlarge Loop 2022 Biodiversity Calendar

Eileen Fahey Chairperson, Kilteevan Tidy Towns and Leonora Neary Artist, officially releasing Cloonlarge Loop Birds Biodiversity Calendar 2022 in the Abbey Hotel Roscommon.

This unique limited edition collector’s item is based on research carried out by Laura Gallagher, Conservation Ranger, National Parks and Wildlife Service. Each bird was magnificently illustrated by Leonora Neary Roscommon artist and life-long nature lover. The calendar is designed by Fiona Dunne, FDDesign Roscommon.  We wish to acknowledge Kevin Fannon, Kilteevan Tidy Towns for proposing Cloonlarge Birds as our 2022 theme.  Thanks also to our Heritage Officer, Nollaig Feeney for being a constant stalwart and support in all matters relating to our heritage.

Given current government guidelines, we felt it was safer not to host a coffee morning to distribute the calendars. Please contact Tidy Towns Committee members if you would like to receive one. The calendars are free but in return we would graciously welcome any donation to support our environmental work.

This project was funded by the Department of Housing, local Government and Heritage under the Peatlands Community Engagement Scheme 2021
