TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE 12

I wish to inform you that Roscommon County Council have decided to temporarily close the following roads in order to facilitate necessary road improvement works from

Monday 21st October until Saturday 26th October 2024 (inclusive)

L1806 Kilteevan, Diversion via N63/N61

 There may be an increased likelihood of delays on these roads as a consequence. Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated.

The works are being managed by Roscommon Operational Area.

We understand that many bog owners and people with turbary rights in this area may not be claiming the compensation which they are entitled to.
