While we are moving to Phase 2 of recovery Covid 19 is still having a major impact on our country. It is important to have accurate information on what we can and cannot do. Roscommon CBS Student of The Year 2020

Heartiest Congratulation to Tidy Towns member Kevin Fannon who was named “Student of the Year “ CBS Roscommon Class of 2020. Kevin is pictured in this week’s Roscommon Herald.

Kevin is a willing, helpful and environmentally conscious member of Kilteevan Tidy Towns.

We could use a thousand adjectives to describe Kevin but we think "Gentleman" sums it all up.

There was great joy on May 30th when the rare and very beautiful Marsh Fritillary was spotted on the Cloonlarge Loop. This is the third consecutive year that it has been recorded. Kilteevan Tidy Towns are now hopeful for future of this beautiful butterfly on The Loop.

The Marsh Fritillary is a legally protected butterfly. The record was submitted to Biodiversity Ireland.
