Covid 19

Kilteevan Tidy Towns would ask you to remember, that while we are keeping our distance, we are still VERY MUCH CONNECTED.

As a community group we care. So if you have worries or concerns please phone, let's keep in touch with each other . If we can’t help you, we will find someone who can.

The Department of Health, the Department of Rural and Community Development and the HSE are working closely to support stakeholders and community groups. We have been asked to share the important information below.

Yesterday's Government Announcement:

Yesterday, the Government announced additional measures to protect citizens by delaying the spread of COVID-19.

The general public is asked to follow this advice and keep informed of this ongoing outbreak. Details of these updated measures can be found here:

https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/ea1c30-updated-measures-in-response-to-covid-19-coronavirus/

Let’s all act responsibly and stay safe .Wash those hands again.

Cloonlarge Loop First Piece of Community Colouring.

One of the main goals of Kilteevan Tidy Towns is the promotion of our well-being .

Colouring books have been found to be beneficial for mental, emotional and physical health for adults and young people. So we placed colouring books in the new outdoor Cloonlarge Library Box and Art Space.

The first picture was started by adults about a month ago and was gradually evolving. We had no idea what to expect!

.

We got a BIG Surprise today when walking the Loop to find our first completed project is there in the box. Well Done everyone who participated in colouring! It is absolutely beautiful.

We look forward to our next creation.

Join in the fun. It’s all good! No directions to read and follow. No required steps to complete in a certain sequence. It’s just hassle free, relaxing fun to be enjoyed alone or with friends.

Enjoy the Loop and all it has to offer.

The project was funded by the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht under Peatlands Community Engagement Scheme 2019.

Planting Hope

Thank you to our dedicated Tidy Towns volunteers and Casey's Londis Roscommon for planting hope in Kilteevan this Spring.
