Roscommon Credit Union helping us to see the World through Eyes of a Child

Congratulations to Mark Fox, Kilteevan National School, 1st Place winner of the age 8-10 category in the Roscommon Credit Union Art Competition.

Mark's art work shows two contrasting versions of planet earth ... one is being destroyed by deforestation, pollution, global warming and Covid 19 while his ideal version of planet earth celebrates the beauty of nature, unpolluted waterways, fresh air and much more. Can you spot his family and their family pet hiding among his wonderfully detailed artwork? Well done to this talented local artist.

Mark is a member of Kilteevan Junior Tidy Towns.

When asked to comment on Mark’s piece of art, Chairperson of Kilteevan Tidy Towns stated the following;

Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is a wakeup call for all of us.

At a very tender age, Mark has an incredibly insightful awareness of current global problems.   We hope that Kilteevan National School and Kilteevan Tidy Towns working together in the community, will help to Open The Way, to bring around all the Good and Happy things Mark loves in the world. We are so lucky to have Mark as a member of our group.”

 Mark will represent Roscommon Credit Union in the Regional Final.

We wish Mark the very best of luck.
