Kilteevan Herb Garden

img_2485-with-sign

If you find yourself short of your favourite herb next time you are cooking no need to grab your purse or go to town!!!!!

Just get a little scissors and drop down to the village crossroads and visit the local pump. There you will find our new Herb Garden, a Bug Hotel with a pollinator friendly roof and a magnificent hanging basket.

The search is on for a little three legged stool and we have a perfect snug or hideaway,

Many actions cost very little and can make a big difference. We are doing more with less.

The garden was created from old decking boards. We used Peat Free Compost

Junior Tidy Towns added some beaurtiful hand painted stones and innovative upcycling in old wellies and footballs,

Our sincere thanks to our committee members for the long hours of voluntary skilled labour which is helping to make us all more resilient and sustainable.
